In this poetic documentary, Terra Isis Gitane embarks on a journey to find answers about what it means to grow up without her Surinamese father.

Through deep and intimate conversations, we speak with men who also grew up without a father figure, whether absent physically or emotionally, and who are now fathers themselves. We explore how this absence has shaped their own experience of fatherhood, and what drives them to do things differently.
